While listening to the intelligent and meaningful discussion from the callers and Newt Gingrich regarding Lean Six Sigma and the need for its implementation to make our Government efficient and cost effective, I have this thought that could be the "battle cry" to all American's - 'Necessity is the mother of invention.' The time is now in our nation’s history to act. We can no longer just know that we need to make this correction we must DO this corrective action! We must demand our representatives make this change and start the process 9/1/2011. ■Balanced Budgets. Newt is the only candidate who has balanced the federal budget. And he kept it balanced four years in a row, paying off over $400 billion in federal debt.
■Job Creation. Over 8 million jobs were created during Newt’s Speakership.
■Tax Cuts. Including the largest capital gains tax cut in history.
■Welfare Reform. Over 2/3 of welfare recipients got a job or went to school.
■Smaller Government. First reduction in discretionary spending in 27 years. Federal workforce declined 10%. Kept federal spending at 18.5% of GDP vs 25% under Obama.
